Job scenario better; time for double-digit growth: FM
April 14th, 2010 | by admin |Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee today said the job scenario has improved in the country even as he stressed the need for taking steps to quickly revert to the 9-per cent growth trajectory.
“The employment situation has improved with an increase of 6.38 lakh jobs in October to December 2009 over September 2009 as per the sample survey of eight important sectors carried out by the labour bureau under the labour and employment ministry,” Mukherjee said at a function organised by B-school MDI here today.
